General Statement of Policy
Our statement of general policy is:
- To ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007
- To provide adequate control of health and safety risk arising from our work activities;
- To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
- To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
- To ensure safe handling and use of substances;
- To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
- To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
- To prevent accidents and case of working related ill health;
- To maintain safe and healthy working conditions;
- To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular internals.
- To consult with employees on all H&S related matters
More specifically the Company will endeavour to:
- Provide and maintain a safe working environment
- Carry out appropriate risk assessments and provide safe systems of work
- Consult employees on health and safety issues
- Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment
- Provide information, instruction, training and supervision for employees
- Investigate accidents and ill health and take the necessary remedial action
- Have appropriate arrangements for the treatment of injuries at work
- Have effective fire prevention and fire control procedures
- Manage and assess on a continual basis health and safety policies of the Company with a view to making them even more effective
