Live – Telford Park School, New Classroom Block
Delivered for Telford & Wrekin Council, the project has provided a new two-storey teaching block, creating eight modern classrooms alongside circulation space, toilet facilities and an office. A lift and fully accessible facilities were incorporated into the design to ensure the new building is accessible and inclusive for students and staff.

The new building has increased the school’s capacity as part of Telford & Wrekin Council’s Secondary School Expansion Programme, supporting the provision of additional secondary school places across the borough. The completed expansion will contribute to an increase in the school’s capacity to 900 students, providing additional places for the growing local community.
The building was constructed using a steel frame with concrete decks and a lightweight Steel Framing System, creating a durable and flexible learning environment. Solar panels and enhanced insulation were also incorporated to support the building’s environmental performance and energy efficiency.
Construction began in October 2025 and was completed in August 2026, with the final phase officially handed over to the school ahead of the new academic year.
The new facilities will initially be used primarily by Year 7 students, providing dedicated modern learning spaces to support their transition from primary to secondary education.
The project was delivered in close collaboration with Telford & Wrekin Council, Telford Park School, Amethyst Academies Trust and the wider project team, with works carried out within a live school environment.
The completed expansion provides Telford Park School with high-quality additional teaching and support spaces, helping to meet the demand for school places and support the school’s continued growth.
Sustainability Performance
Sustainability has remained a key consideration throughout the delivery of the Telford Park School project. Through careful material selection, efficient site management and ongoing monitoring of environmental performance, the project has achieved an embodied carbon footprint of just 67.35 tCO₂e.
