The project involved construction an infill extension over the quadrangle within the centre of the school to provide a library and food technology area. The construction was steel frame to carry the roof structure with 4 pyramid roof lights, new foundations and masonry pillars to support the steel frame, concrete floor and finishes. The existing hall had new lights and finishes throughout. All the works were completed through restricted single door access and managed with absolutely zero disruption to the 220 children and staff.
The Head Teacher of the School thanked Pave Aways for their efforts and for their professionalism during the works with particular praise for the Site Manager, Alex Davies. Shropshire Architect and Project Manager, Bethan Humphreys, issued 5 items on the snagging list of which 3 were requested variations.
As an added benefit Pave Aways offered a donation of £350 to the school to purchase PE equipment and await the choice from the School.
