The Project was to build a new classroom and corridor area between two existing buildings, take out rear wall of existing family room and extend out to form a new teaching space and to completely refurbish two toilet blocks within the existing school, including new drainage beneath existing floors to the toilet areas, new toilet cubicles and vanity units. The construction was traditional foundations, solid concrete floors, Traditional brick/block work cavity walls. The roof construction was a flat roof with cut to falls insulation finished with a torch on felt roofing system. Windows and doors were the Comar system double glazed Aluminium .

The project was carried out with the school in full operation, the extensions were to the rear elevation of the school and all deliveries and site traffic had to pass through the main car park and into the main playground, this was all coordinated with the school with very little disturbance. The internal toilet floors had to be broken out during school times so we had to liaise very closely with the teachers to enable as little disturbance as possible to teaching periods.
