The project included the complete refurbishment / alteration to various areas of the existing school to provide additional classrooms and new entrance and staff area: associated drainage and external works with the works being carried out in five phases. The school remained operational throughout.

The five phases were separated into:

Phase 1 – Refurbishment to form nursery involved minor structural alterations and complete refurbishment

Phase 2 – New build for KS1/2 wing consisting of four new classrooms construction from steel frame, masonry walls and standing seam roof. Full frontage curtain wall provided to the classrooms

Phase 3 – Refurbishment of the existing entrance and 3 classrooms with a new classroom constructed as part of this phase. The refurbishment to the existing areas involved asbestos removal, detailed structural alterations and full refurbishment to the area. The new build classroom was a masonry frame with flat roof over constructed in 16 weeks

Phase 4 – Ne entrance and staff area. This provided a feature entrance for the school rendered in strong colours

Phase 5 – works to refurbish the existing Hall, removal of demountable buildings and construction of new MUGA Area, car park, footpaths and fencing
