Work is to begin within four weeks on the new facility for Polytec Group at the T54 Business Park in Telford.
Polytec Group are Europe’s leading manufacturer of original accessories, small series parts and systems for the automotive world. They are an international company, currently with their UK headquarters in Bromyard, Herefordshire.
The 7,500m2 building, will comprise fully fitted out offices and welfare areas, together with a partially fitted out assembly area and paint shop. The specialist paint manufacturer will install their mezzanines and paint equipment for the completion of the fit out works.
The works will involve site remediation, substructures, superstructures and an extensive external works scheme. The main element of the building will be a steel framed structure, clad with insulated cladding.
This project is under a Design and Build Contract, with the Architect (One Creative Environments Ltd) Structural Engineer (Complete Design Partnership) and the Services Engineer (JBR Consulting) all being novated over to Pave Aways to complete the design.
The project value is in excess of £8m and is due for a December 2017 completion.
