Our Approach
We provide comprehensive training and ongoing education to our employees to ensure they are well-versed in the latest Health & Safety policies and practices. Through continuous improvement initiatives, we stay up-to-date with advancements in safety regulations and industry best practices.
A 'Don't Walk By' Ethos
We have implemented a 'Don't Walk By' policy. This policy encourages everyone, at all levels of our organization, to be vigilant and proactive in identifying and rectifying potential hazards or unsafe practices. It means that we never turn a blind eye to any safety concerns, but rather, we take immediate action to address them.
Toolbox Talks
We regularly conduct toolbox talks with our site operatives. These informative sessions provide valuable opportunities for our site operatives to actively engage in discussions, ask questions, and share their experiences. Example topics could include: working at height; working with hazardous substances; and machinery and equipment safety.
By promoting a collaborative learning environment, we empower our team to recognize and mitigate potential hazards, fostering a safety-conscious mindset that extends beyond these sessions.
Review
Following completion of a project, a health and safety review is carried out. This enables us to pick out issues that may be reoccurring and developing into trends. Action to combat these trends is put in place to ensure that they do not occur on other projects throughout the company.

Protecting Communities
To further enhance our safety protocols, we have implemented a comprehensive employee vetting process. Every member of our team undergoes an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This diligent screening procedure ensures that all employees working on our construction sites are cleared to work with vulnerable populations, maintaining the highest level of safeguarding for everyone involved.
By conducting enhanced DBS checks, we provide an added layer of security, particularly when working in environments such as schools, healthcare facilities, and other sensitive areas. We recognize the importance of creating a safe and secure environment for all individuals on and around our construction sites.
Subcontractors & Suppliers
Our safety culture extends beyond our own workforce. When working with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, we ensure they align with our stringent safety standards. We believe that safety is a collaborative effort, and by fostering strong relationships with our partners, we collectively contribute to a safe working environment.
