There was sun, there was rain, there were high winds and quite a few sore feet – but we did it! Team Pave Aways smashed the Shropshire Safari 2018 and we’ve raised more than £2,000 for our chosen charity, the West Midlands Air Ambulance.
We were interviewed by Radio Shropshire as we prepared to leave The Quarry in Shrewsbury on Friday morning and that helped to raise awareness about why we were doing what we were doing.
We certainly got attention everywhere we went and met some brilliant people along the way who donated to the cause and gave us the encouragement to carry on.
