School’s sporting success celebrated by Pave Aways

We were delighted to return to Welshpool High School recently as the main sponsor of its sports awards.

Managing director Steven Owen, quantity surveyor Ben Jones, HR officer Jane Harvey and accounts assistant Rhianne Duggin attended the celebratory event at the school where we delivered a £500,000 refurbishment of toilets and changing rooms for Powys County Council this summer.

The awards recognise progress, achievement, sporting excellence and outstanding contributions to sport.

Trophies, including the Pave Aways cup and Pave Aways shield for team of the year, were presented to the winners at the event, which was attended by students, parents and staff.

Managing director Steven Owen said: “It was a privilege to be part of this event to reward the students for their sporting achievements.

“As a business, we understand the importance of team work and supporting every person to develop to the best of their ability so we were delighted to help the school with this initiative, especially as we have so recently upgraded the changing rooms.

“It was a very positive evening and we would like to commend all the winners.”
