What a decade the 10’s have been for Pave Aways. In 2010 we began with me, as a contracts manager, and Victoria Lawson, as a quantity surveyor, and here we are 10 years later as the proud owners of Pave Aways.
At the end of 2010 we sat proudly looking at the order books with construction contracts around the £1.5 million mark.
Now, here we are at the end of 2019 looking back on a range of multi-million pound construction contracts such as Polytec at £8.4 million, a new science block at Concord College at £6.4 million and the new spa at Carden Park at £10 million – what a 10 years!
On a more personal note, one of the key elements in the development of Pave Aways in the last three years has been our introduction to Be Bold Media and in particular to Amy Bould and Jo Cunningham.
They have been taking care of all our PR and communications and the attention to detail offered by both is incredible and the working relationship established between Jo, Vicky, Paul, our business development director, and Jamie, our construction director, is exceptional – what a team they all make.
The highlight of the last ten years, and one of the key defining moments in the history of Pave Aways, was winning ‘Company of the Year’ at the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce Awards. This recognised us as the leading company in the county – across all sectors – and firmly placed us at the top of the construction tree.
Jo’s help in streamlining all of the information and ideas that we wanted to get over to the judges was crucial. I was so pleased that Be Bold were there on the night to help us celebrate when our name was called out. It’s definitely a night that I will never forget!

What you bring to Pave Aways is immeasurable. Your patience is admirable with the continual chasing me down on all sorts of things and for getting it right every time and, time after time.
