Considerate constructors recognised at hospital site

Our team working on the flagship centre for military veterans at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen has received top marks for its commitment to construction excellence.

We scored 44 out of 45 for respecting the community, care for the environment and valuing our workforce following two inspections by judges for the Considerate Constructors Scheme and have been awarded a certificate of performance to mark the “excellent” rating.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation set up by the construction industry in 1997 to improve its image. Sites are judged on how they rate against the scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice.

Construction Director Jamie Evans said: “The Considerate Constructors Scheme recognises achievements in the advancement of the considerate construction ethos.

“Well done to the site manager Andrew Owen and his team for achieving this independent validation that they are maintaining the high standard of construction excellence we pride ourselves on.”
