Outstanding ‘considerate constructors’ award at Packwood Haugh

Our team that is building new science laboratories at a Shropshire school has been recognised as outstanding ‘considerate constructors’.

Site manager Tom Ford (pictured second left) and his team achieved the maximum possible score of 45 following an independent inspection of our site at Packwood Haugh School by judges for the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

They were rated on how they respect the community, care for the environment and value our workforce and have been awarded a certificate of performance to mark the “outstanding” ranking.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation set up by the construction industry in 1997 to improve its image. Sites are judged on how they rate against the scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice.

Construction Director Jamie Evans said: “Tom and his team deserve all the credit for the way they are delivering this project and conducting themselves on site, while the day-to-day operation of the school continues with minimal impact.

“The Considerate Constructors Scheme recognises achievements in the advancement of the considerate construction ethos and this is independent verification that they are maintaining the high standard of construction excellence that we always aim to achieve at Pave Aways.”
