Our Big Pub Quiz was a BIG success! We were thrilled to bring the community together on Friday, 21st March for a fantastic evening of fun and fundraising in support of the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund – our chosen charity of the year.
The event took place at The Cock Inn, Hanwood, Shrewsbury, SY5 8LJ, with the quiz kicking off at 7 PM. We had a fantastic turnout of friends, family, and colleagues who put their knowledge to the test! Teams of up to four battled it out for some brilliant prizes, including a cash prize for the winning team. The evening was made even more lively with an exciting mix of Irish bingo, a raffle, and other engaging games.
Entry was just £5 per person on the door, and attendees enjoyed the option to order food throughout the night. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who participated, we are delighted to announce that we raised a fantastic total of £1030.28 for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund!
By taking part, everyone who attended directly contributed to the vital work of the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, which supports people affected by cancer across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales. Every penny raised will go towards their crucial cancer services and support for those in need.
