We are looking for charities and groups in Wellington that need a helping hand to come forward as part of our pledge to build a better future in the communities we’re working in.
We are currently carrying out refurbishments to many properties in the centre of Wellington including the former YMCA building on Walker Street, Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre, and the restoration of Wellington Markets for Telford & Wrekin Council.
We are seeking local community facilities, clubs, or sports teams in Wellington to offer free minor building repairs, decorating, or plastering services, or to sponsor with new sports kits.
Commercial director Victoria Lawson said: “We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work and would like to pay something back to organisations in Wellington that deserve our help.
“It might be a community hall that needs a lick of paint, a building that provides facilities for local people that is in need of our professional skills or a sports team that needs a new kit.
“We know building maintenance and upkeep can be costly and time consuming to carry out but we’re here to help and happy to be able to support an organisation that plays an important role in the community.”
Any Wellington organisation that would like to apply for help through our community benefits programme should read more information here!
