We were happy to return to Lakewood Court and Wellbeing Hub in Telford, a residential service that provides a safe, positive and enriching environment for adults with learning disabilities who have complex or high support needs – this time with a more green-fingered focus.
While our original work on site focused on refurbishment improvements to enhance the facilities, this latest visit saw us return in a slightly different capacity, this time with our gardening gloves on!
Our very own Andy Pagett, Stuart Boniface, and Dave Woolhouse were more than happy to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand, helping prepare raised planters with fresh compost, ready for residents and staff to bring them to life with colourful flowers, herbs and sensory plants.
Reflecting on the return visit, Managing Director Steven Owen said:
Creating a welcoming and engaging outdoor space has a huge impact on wellbeing, and we’re delighted to have played a small part in developing an area that encourages connection with nature, creativity and enjoyment.
It was fantastic to be back at Lakewood Court and to see how the space is being used and appreciated. A huge thank you to the team and residents for such a warm welcome and for all the effort you continue to put in to making the hub such a special place.
We’re honoured to support a project that has such a positive and lasting impact on the community.
