We have been appointed as the main contractor for the replacement curtain walling and associated works at Holmer Lake Primary School in Brookside, Telford.
The works, which are being carried out for the Borough of Telford and Wrekin Council, comprise the removal of asbestos and the existing curtain walling and the supply and installation of new replacement SAP curtain walling and doors. There is also the overcladding of the existing fascias and replacement of 3 nr canopies.
The programme is 25 weeks and will be carried out in 3 phases, during which works need to be carefully planned as the school will remain in use. The works are due for completion January 2018.
Careful co-ordination between our Site Manager Mark Lawrence and Contracts Manager Stefan Ivanovic with the Headmistress will be required, in order for the project to be successful. We have undertaken projects in many educational environments where the site remains in use by staff and students, so we are aware of the constraints and systems of works that need to be in place to ensure the safety of all
