Work to start on flagship community project in Telford

Pave Aways has been chosen as the main contractor for the refurbishment of landmark community building The Anstice in Madeley, Telford.

We will begin work on site on the £1.2m scheme on February 25 . The contract includes renovating the original vaulted ballroom to create a venue for local events, installation of a new lift, a new cafe and multi use spaces and other works.  We will be employing local people and using contractors in our established supply chain that are based within 25 miles of the site.

Managing Director Steven Owen said: “We are thrilled to have been awarded the contract for The Anstice. We look forward to working on a sympathetic refurbishment whilst maintaining the historic integrity of the building to ensure it becomes a flexible space that can serve the community for years to come.”
