Two new apprentices, Jorj Bennett and Dan Stones, have joined us at Pave Aways.
Jorj and Dan, who are both 17 and from Welshpool, have joined us as apprentice carpenters. It follows two weeks’ work experience they carried out at the Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School site earlier this summer.
They will both study for Site Carpentry NVQs alongside their day job. Jorj has already completed his Level 1 qualification and will be going on to take his second year Level 2 course in Newtown. Dan will be studying for his Level 1 and 2 at Shrewsbury College.
Managing Director Steven Owen said: “We are delighted to be able to expand our team with the addition of these two local lads. We were really impressed with their work and attitude during their work experience.
“They will have access to great training and support from our experienced team and we look forward to helping them progress up the career ladder with Pave Aways.”
