Fun day brings together the Pave Aways family

We celebrated with our Pave Aways team and their families on Saturday with the return of our summer family fun day.

There was a host of activities to suit everyone from balloon modelling and face painting for the calm at heart, to a bungee run and bouncy castle for the more adventurous among us.

The event was held at the Mereside Community Centre in Shrewsbury and was open to all Pave Aways staff, their families and friends as a way to say thank you for our team’s hard work and support.

Proceeds from the event are being donated to The Movement Centre, a charity based in Oswestry, at The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital — a site that we have completed numerous projects at over the years.

The specialist movement centre offers its world exclusive Targeted Training programme to children who have limited movement. Our support follows on from our recent headline sponsorship of a fundraising golf day for the charity.

Commercial Director Victoria Lawson said: “It was great to see the team come together again, especially after the challenges we’ve all faced over the past 18 months.

““I’d also like to share thanks to Sabrina Davies who did an excellent job in organising the event for us all to enjoy. It was a wonderful day, in aid of a fantastic local cause, and we can’t wait to continue with the tradition of the annual event next year.”
