Handing over new classrooms at Helsby High School

Pave Aways have handed over our latest education project for Cheshire West and Chester Council – a refurbishment within Helsby High School, which will greatly enhance the learning environment for students.

This project involved the construction of a single-storey extension to the main school building, creating four brand-new classrooms, ready to welcome pupils just in time for the new academic year. The project marks a milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting the educational infrastructure within our region.

As part of this project, we oversaw the demolition of two temporary mobile classroom blocks. The removal of these portacabins has made way for a modern, permanent solution that will better serve the needs of the students and staff.

The new classrooms are designed to provide a modern, comfortable learning environment that aligns with the school’s vision for the future.

Rob Gilhooley, Senior Project Officer at Cheshire West and Chester Council said, “It was a pleasure working with Jamie and the team on the Helsby project. Pave Aways worked collaboratively with both the Council and the management team at the School to ensure that these fantastic new classrooms were completed in time for the start of the new academic year.”

Completing this project on time was a key priority for us, ensuring that students can start the academic year in their new classrooms without any disruption to their education. The successful delivery of this project is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.

This project reinforces our commitment to building quality educational facilities that meet the needs of our communities, both now and in the years to come.
