Official unveiling for ground breaking agricultural innovation centre

A pioneering Agricultural Engineering & Innovation Centre that was built by Pave Aways is set to change the future of farming.

The Midlands Agri-Tech Innovation Hub at Harper Adams University near Newport (contract value – £3.92m) will focus on the development, testing and sharing of technologies to boost productivity in farming and the food supply chain.

The AgriEpi Centre is the 20th build we have delivered at the Harper Adams campus. They have ranged from small in size – the conversion of an existing boot room to office space – all the way up to multi-million pound new builds, which are always innovative in design. Our contracts on site have totalled £20.8m.

The facility was opened by MP Sam Gyimah and is one of four ground-breaking facilities across the UK to develop new technologies that can boost the productivity, sustainability and profitability of the agri-food industry.
