Pave Aways success makes the news

It was an exciting first half of 2019 for Pave Aways with two milestone achievements – being named Company of the Year and being ranked in the top 50 fastest growing businesses in The Shropshire Growth Report.

Our success has been reviewed in the Shropshire Star Business Review, which takes a look at the health of the county’s commercial sector, published today (page 24).

The BDO Growth Report put us at number 39 in the list alongside an illustrious list of other big name organisations. This was a huge achievement as it came so soon after winning the coveted Company of the Year award at the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards.

Managing Director Steven Owen said the first half of 2019 had been a significant period in the company’s history.

“Being named the Shropshire Chamber Company of the Year was an incredible boost to our team and our wider supply chain as it recognised that we are achieving the high standards we set ourselves across all aspects of our business.

“Followed so closely with our appearance in the Shropshire Growth Report, it has given us a clear signal that we are achieving the quality growth we are aiming for.

“We are currently working on a number of exciting schemes across Shropshire and beyond and are looking forward to continuing to develop the Pave Aways business in a sustainable manner,” he added.

As well as continuing to secure contracts in our specialist field of education such as a £2.1m contract to design and build an extension at Blacon High School in Cheshire and a £2.3m refurbishment and extension of Shrewsbury School’s Ashton Theatre, our current projects include a £4m kitchen and dining facility for military personnel at Nesscliffe Training Camp and a £10m state-of-the-art luxury spa at Carden Park.

Other projects completed in the first half of the year include the refurbishment and extension of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in Wrexham for the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, which followed on from the construction of new health centres in Corwen and Bala for the health trust.

We operate in a wide range of sectors including industrial, residential and commercial and offer a full service from design concept to completion across Shropshire, Mid Wales, Cheshire, Staffordshire and into the wider Midlands.
