New business hub takes shape

The first phase of work to create a hub for new and growing businesses in Newtown is complete.

Following the successful completion of the first floor conversion and refurbishment of Ladywell House, we have moved on to the second floor.

The roof is finished – check out the great view from the top – and we are making good progress on the second floor refurbishment. The scaffolding will be coming down soon as well.

We are carrying out the conversion and refurbishment for the Heart of Wales Property Service, which is delivering the scheme for Powys County Council.

When completed, it will offer 2,500 square metres of flexible office space for smaller businesses to establish and grow. The project also involves improvements to the building’s energy efficiency and installing green technologies including solar energy and charging points for electric vehicles.
