We recently handed over a state of the art £4m dining and kitchen complex that will serve military personnel in Shropshire.
We carried out the build for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and its industry partner Landmarc Support Services Limited.
The complex is equipped to cater for up to 600 armed forces personnel each meal time and up to 200 personnel in the field. It included the construction of additional storage and welfare space and improving facilities for disabled people.
It is also highly sustainable with enhanced thermal insulation and photovoltaic roof panels that will significantly reduce ongoing maintenance and utilities costs for the MOD.
The completed project at Nesscliff Training Camp had special resonance for our team as it’s where the very first Pave Aways project was commissioned in 1973.
