County Hall contract awarded to Pave Aways

Pave Aways has been awarded a new contract to refurbish County Hall in Llandrindod Wells for the Welsh Government.

The £1m scheme will include the strip out of the existing building and reconfiguring it with a more open plan layout including installing partitions and services as well as the final finish.

Managing Director Steven Owen said: “We are delighted to have won this competitive tender and look forward to starting work when the current coronavirus crisis is over and renewing our relationship with the Welsh Government.

“We will be utilising businesses in our supply chain within a 30 mile radius of Llandrindod Wells with a pledge to procure 90% of resources and services from Wales. This will be a welcome boost for them after what will be a very uncertain period for many.”

Previous projects Pave Aways has delivered for the Welsh government include the £4.6m Invertek Drives factory in Welshpool.
