Former chef Alex has joined us after deciding to swap the kitchen for construction.

He said: “I have some experience in health and safety, however I’m new to construction, after working in kitchens and as a chef for more than 20 years.

“I’ve been given an excellent opportunity at a second career with Pave Aways and will be shadowing the current health and safety manager over the next year or so and working through all the required qualifications with the aim of stepping onto the role in the future.”

Managing Director Steven Owen said: “I am very pleased to welcome Khalida and Alex to the team. Both are hugely passionate about their respective fields and they will be a great addition to our team.”
