Five shortlistings in Constructing Excellence Wales awards

We have received five shortlistings in this year’s Constructing Excellence Wales awards.

We have got through to the next round of judging for Building Project of the Year for the Hafan Yr Afon Visitor and Community Centre in Newtown, which is also shortlisted in the Value Award.

We will also be interviewed by judges the People Development category. Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School, which we built for Powys County Council, has made it through to the Sustainability category and the Value Award after being nominated by the designers Architype.

Managing Director Steven Owen said: “This is an amazing achievement for us, our  clients, the architects and everyone involved in working on this projects.

“It is great to see Mid Wales so well represented in the shortlisted projects and we hope to fly the flag for the great work we are doing in the region when we meet the judges.”

Last year, we were highly commended for the Passivhaus social housing we built in Sarn for Powys County Council in the Residential Property category.

UPDATE (4.4.23) – we have also been shortlisted for the SME of the Year award!
