Trio of apprentices join the team

We’re delighted to welcome three new apprentices to the Pave Aways team – further consolidating our ongoing commitment to investing in local talent.

Michael Carter, George Luckett and Henry Hazlehurst joined us earlier this month as the latest wave of apprentices to start their careers here.

Michael, from Maesbury Marsh, and George, from Shrewsbury, both join as multi-skilled operative apprentices, whilst Henry, from Whitchurch, is a carpentry apprentice.

All will be developing their skills on the job with us whilst studying with SBC Training in Shrewsbury.

Training manager Michelle Benjamin said: “All three new apprentices will be supported by our experienced team and get a chance to learn practical skills on our live building sites alongside studying at college.

‘We have a proud history of investing in new talent and are delighted to welcome Michael, George and Henry on board and wish them every success in their new careers.”

We won the Shropshire Business award for our commitment to training and education in 2020 and are a member of The 5% Club, a national movement committed to investing in new talent.
