Live – Tushingham with Grindley CE Primary School Extension

Pave Aways has been appointed to deliver a 26-week extension project at Tushingham with Grindley CE Primary School, creating modern, purpose-built facilities that will enhance the learning environment for pupils and staff.

The scheme involves the construction of two new extensions to the existing school, enabling the removal of a dilapidated modular classroom block. The main extension will provide two new classrooms, increasing teaching space and supporting the school’s future needs, while a second, smaller extension will house a new kitchen facility to improve catering provision.

Both extensions will be constructed simultaneously, with careful planning to minimise disruption and ensure the school can continue to operate safely throughout the works.

Construction is underway, with completion expected in December 2026. Once finished, the project will provide high-quality, permanent facilities that support the school’s long-term development and create an improved environment for pupils, staff and the wider school community.
