Millbrook Primary School
Completed in October 2025, the scheme increased the school’s capacity to accommodate up to 420 primary-age pupils, responding directly to growing demand for school places within the local community.
Delivered within a live school environment, the works were carefully phased and managed to ensure minimal disruption to pupils, staff and daily teaching activities.
The two additional classrooms were designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing buildings, providing bright, flexible teaching spaces to support the school’s growing intake.
A dedicated SEND hub was created to provide a calm, inclusive and purpose-designed environment tailored to children with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring enhanced support within a high-quality setting.
The new hall delivers a versatile space for assemblies, PE lessons, performances and wider community use, while the upgraded kitchen facilities enable the school to efficiently cater for increased pupil numbers.
Works commenced on site in April 2025 and were completed on programme in October 2025. Close collaboration with the Council, school leadership team and stakeholders ensured smooth delivery, underpinned by robust health and safety standards and clear communication throughout.
The completed extension has strengthened capacity, enhanced inclusivity and created modern, future-ready facilities that will serve Millbrook’s pupils and the wider community for years to come.
